3. Implementations: Rewarding and Employee Engagement Approaches in an Organization.
In HRM, Rewarding play an important role in encouraging and retaining employees within the organization. Financial Supporting, recognition and Appreciation, career opportunities and its developments, work-life balance all these ideas include in the term “Rewarding”. In parallel, Employee Engagement also important for organizational success, which is encouraged by open communication, empowerment, feedback, teamwork, and a healthy workplace culture (Eva Andres, 2022; Hannah price, 2009-2024).
By integrating these aspects, support to the organizational goals by making people feel appreciated and encouraged to perform successfully. Meantime, continuously review and personalizing of these methods are important and needed for reshaping to changing organizational culture and satisfying varied employee needs, these resulting in a peaceful and productive workplace for the employees (Hannah price, 2009-2024)
In Sri
Lankan context there are many practical approaches of these aspects made by the
companies to enhance their organization productivity and efficiency.

ACL Cables PLC is a cable manufacturing company also another example for active participant who is practicing the rewarding and employee engagement within the company. Recently they have awarded their long-standing employees who served over 25 years to their company with golden coin as a token of honor and recognition by their chairman and managing director. The company has a program to reward for the students who has gained highest marks for grade 5 scholarship examination who is among the children of electricians (ACL Cables, 2024). And they have organized many events like “pirith ceromancy” as well as leadership, motivational development events, on-the-job training programmes to improve their employee’s skill and for educated their employees (ACL Cables PLC, 2023).
Conclusion:
Any
organization needed to have an effective rewards and employee engagement Approaches
to enhance self-motivation among the employees, to retention and improve productivity,
to maintain positive work culture within organization and finally, to achieve
organizational goals efficiently. According to the resources I have following
through, these key strategies have positive impact to the Sri Lankan industry,
and they have actively participated and gain success from it.
